Introduction

On Matter’s platform you can now analyze the level of alignment or misalignment of your portfolios with each of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as well as see your overall SDG alignment and misalignment. This is based off the ‘SDG Fundamentals’ dataset, co-generated with BNP Paribas Asset Management, which measures revenue alignment to the SDGs.

On the platform, only part of Matter’s insights on portfolio SDG alignment are available. For more granular information on SDG alignment broken down by revenue streams at a company level company, as well as granular target-level data, please contact the Matter team.

Important to note: SDG revenue alignment data at the entity level is available as an additional package, and we recommend you to contact the support team to gain access to the feature

About this framework

Matter's "SDG Fundamentals" data analyses the alignment of the various revenue streams a company generates towards individual SDGs, as well as across SDGs.

By examining company revenue, the analysis looks to the core of a company's impact, its products and services.
